Welcome to Made4Cats. We’re a small, family-run business in Shropshire, England. Since we’re not VAT-registered, there’s no VAT on our products. All content on our site is our own, so please don’t reuse, republish, or reprint without our permission.

Service availability

Our website is for UK residents only, and we only sell to individuals. If you’re looking to place a bulk order or have a wholesale inquiry, get in touch with us at made4catsuk@gmail.com. By placing an order, you’re confirming that you:

  • Are buying for personal use (business orders need prior approval)
  • Are 18 or older
  • Are legally able to enter into contracts
  • Are not pretending to be someone else
  • Live in a serviced country and are ordering from there

How the contract is formed

When you place an order, you agree to our terms. You’ll get an email confirming we’ve received your order, but this doesn’t mean it’s accepted yet. We’ll send another email to confirm acceptance, including any extra delivery costs. The contract is final when we send this acceptance email.

Descriptions – pricing, colours and sizes

We strive for accuracy, but handmade items can vary – all sizes shown are approximate. The colour of the natural sisal can also vary. If there’s a pricing error, we’ll let you know and offer the correct price or cancellation. We reserve the right to refuse orders based on incorrect information. Actual colours of fleece may vary slightly from those shown depending on your screen settings. Slight fabric shade variations are also common between batches. As such colours are provided for reference purposes and we cannot guarantee an exact colour match. 

Cancellation

Changed your mind? Let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll cancel and refund your order. You will be refunded to the same payment method you used to make the purchase. Cancellations after 24 hours will incur a 10% fee as we will have started preparing your order.

Packaging

We’ll pack your goods carefully, but we are unable to follow specific packaging requests. The packaging choice is ours.

Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed, we will deliver your order to the address you provided at checkout. Shipping is available exclusively within the UK, with free delivery to mainland UK. If you are in UK but not on the mainland, please contact us for a shipping quote at made4catsuk@gmail.com.

Standard shipping usually takes between 2 and 4 working days (up to 11 working days for the Channel Islands. If you would like expedited shipping please contact us for a quote at made4catsuk@gmail.com.

Faulty goods return procedure

We take pride in the quality of our products. However, if you believe you’ve received a faulty item, please let us know within 14 days. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you’re satisfied with your order.

In the rare event that your order arrives visibly damaged, please inform the delivery driver, make a note on the delivery document, take photos if possible, and contact us as soon as you can.

Returns and refund

Need to return an item? We offer hassle-free returns within 28 days of purchase for a refund. Please note that return shipping costs will be your responsibility. All returned items must be in their original, unused condition with packaging intact.

How to return:

  • Contact us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return.
  • Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation. Without this, we are unable to process a refund.
  • You then have another 14 days to return the goods to us at your own expense. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.. We will make a deduction from the amount refunded to you if the goods have been used, parts are missing or the goods or their packaging has been damaged.

Care and safety

We construct our products using furniture grade wood and superior quality natural sisal rope. Sisal rope is abrasive, so please handle it with care. Check the product regularly for wear and tear, and supervise your cat during use. This product is not suitable for children.

Risk and title

Risk transfers to you upon delivery. Ownership transfers when we receive full payment. Use our products safely and supervise your cats – our liability doesn’t extend to any issues from their use.
